While the Great War still rages on in the world beyond, calm have arrived relatively early thise year for Miss Loi and her Temple.
These are days of peace, when the skies are blue, the grass is delightfully green, and the rabbits are prancing aimlessly on the meadows. These are the days when Miss Loi is often caught in a Zen-like shopping trance, and when she can afford a bit more time to bargain with the saleswoman.
The dark period of the Siege, tsunamis, and being kidnapped are quickly forgotten, as her readers now bizarrely turn her comments box into a forum for peace and violence and spellchecking.
This is also the time for renewal and refurbishment, and to patch up the Temple walls that were savagely pounded during the Great Siege. So it’s about time Miss Loi catches up with old friends Billy, Antonius and that very, very naughty Kludd. And what’s more, this time she even get to know a few more exotic friends like Benno, Kvartal, Morebo and Vika who joined her for lunch with some meatballs.

Bypasser, Miss Loi has seen those many, many times already lah. A pity that we don't often get similar works from our local students though.
