Bonjour à partir du Morocco!

(2)
Tuition given in the topic of Study Break from the desk of Miss Loi at 8:16 am (Singapore time)

Updated on

Welcome to Morocco! And after this, you must speak French!

… so said the man (for the 10nth time) to Miss Loi as she downed another bottle of Arabic Coke at the Marrakech cafe.

Coke on The Djemma
Djemma El Fna

Looking down at the indefatigable, eternal show that is the Djemma el Fna, Miss Loi smiled at the Moroccan man (for the 10nth time) and began massaging her sore feet.

Feet that were sore from the past days of wandering aimlessly and getting lost in the endlessly labyrinthine souks

and from the long treks to the villages …

Aroumd

with those countless mounting and dismounting from her friendly mule on the way up the mountains …

To Toubkal

… who promptly abandoned her when the snow began to fall 🙁 (just joking)

No Toubkal

In any case, as Miss Loi prepares to embark on the next phase of her journey to the Road of A Thousand Kasbahs, she would like to take this opportunity of a good internet connection to wish all

Merry X’Mas & A Happy New Year!

And remember in Morocco, you MUST speak French!

Au Revoir!

頑張って!!!

For some reason I keep replaying the clip of you trying to mount that mule.

    Guess you either a) aren't a cyclist/rider, or b) scared u're too heavy for the beast! 😀
