Scientific Salvation Has Come To The Temple!

For many, attaining their Mathematical Salvation is not enough.

Little Miss Loi
Little Miss Loi,
earring & hairband sold separately

To survive, most students must overcome The Enemy‘s deadly Physical siege engines, alchemic spells of Chemical fireballs, its terrifying Biological pestilence, or worse – a combination of everything, all of which are prophesied to strike in less than 3 months’ time.

While Miss Loi’s aromatherapeutically-scented joss sticks have been keeping the Mathematical Menace at bay, ghostly tales have emerged of another Miss Loi, descending on the darkest of nights in a blinding apparition of light, to heal those genetically-mutilated by biological warfare, revive those electrocuted by Ohm’s Law, and resurrect those nuked so badly that their very existence is held together only by Van der Waals forces.

双剑合壁! (lit. combine swords in Chinese martial arts dramas)

Yes, the time has come to dispel the myth that Miss Loi is a ghost extend The Temple‘s salvation to more LMBFH Syndrome sufferers, for Miss Loi’s sister (let’s just call her Little Miss Loi for now ;) ) has just been initiated into The Order of The Temple!

Offering her special breed of scientifically-enhanced joss sticks, Little Miss Loi is a NUS Life Science (Merit) graduate majoring in Biomedical Science, a Singapore Biology Olympiad and NUS Biomedical Quiz participant, an ex-Science relief teacher, and one who has been offering salvation to O-level Science students for more than 5 years.

Most importantly, in keeping with her illustrious *cough cough* elder sister’s tradition, the fortunate ones who’d received her teachings have mostly attained average grade jumps of 6 notches (e.g. from C6 -> A1) for their relevant subjects.

Science Jφss Sticks Sessions

For the next three months, Little Miss Loi will be holding her very own cosy Science Jφss Sticks Sessions (max 4 students per session) right next to Miss Loi at The Temple, to cover the entire O-Level syllabus for the following subjects/combos:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology*
  • Combined Science (Physics, Chemistry)
  • Combined Science (Physics, Biology)
  • Combined Science (Chemistry, Biology)

As usual, the schedule will be firmed up pending confirmation of existing students’ available timings, so please contact Miss Loi (**yes the 姐姐 elder one) now to confirm your early Scientific Salvation!

Now the challenge is to get Little Miss Loi to start blogging …

.

.

.

… and with just 5 more days before voting ends, can everyone please help Miss Loi attain her S’pore Blog Awards Salvation?

The icon ☢: radioactive. Atomic physics is relatively new in physics and this icon might just mean "up-to-date (with the syllabus)". Likewise for the earring.

    作为理科生,我的确相信科学有用的,前提是:理科生数学要好!所以这双剑可真息息相关。

Krisandro: Yes, all those who never do homework will get to wear that hairband for one lesson (regardless of whether the offender is male or female).

Cockroach: Wah ... you want to touch that Pantene shiny silky hair? Have you worn your protective suit yet?

Li-sa: Miss Loi hopes to see Science questions popping up here soon ... but someone needs a crash course on blogging :P

FoxTwo: This one Miss Loi (version 1.0) can answer too: GET OUT OF THE LIFT!

    Soupie: Not oneesan meh?

Precious: No they're not the same. That Miss Loi on the newspaper has Pantene shiny silky and youthful-looking black hair (with a bit of highlight), this one's hair is already grey all over (might be due to the effects of the hairband).
