Today, many schools across Singapore celebrate International Friendship Day - leading to the cancellation of some of Miss Loi's sessions. Tsk. Which is a little strange as the actual international International Friendship Day appears to be traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday of August - a little too close for comfort to another Big Day perhaps?
Miss Loi visited a Sakae Sushi outlet, along with her Mom and Sis, to celebrate her Sis's birthday. When they were seated at the table, the waitress asked: Can ALL of you show me your IC or student pass? Miss Loi's Sis: Wah! Student got discount?! Waitress: No. Miss Loi: So why would you want to see our ICs/student passes?
In a serious case of deja vu, the evil cats and dogs came pouring with a vengeance late Thursday afternoon. This time though the newly-reinforced roof managed to hold its own, but remembering suddenly her poor car at the carpark Miss Loi bolted outside the Temple Gates to stand before the scene of carnage that greeted her.
In her excitement, Miss Loi's student booked and paid for 4 tickets on the Singapore Flyer. But 2 of them pulled out, so in a massive display of compassion, Miss Loi promises to buy the two extra tickets from her student, provided she can find someone to go with her. To spice things up a little, she propose that the first person to answer correctly this mind-stimulating question shall earn him/herself a romantic evening with her!
The completion of the Second Temple is nigh!
