Miss Loi has been driving around like this since yesterday following the Great Flood. No wonder she has been finding it easier to out-sprint the irritating uncles who speed up the moment she signals to change lanes. And with an engine roar comparable to that from a turbocharged Ah Beng car that drove alongside hers this morning, that also managed to drown out her techno tracks, and whatever that's left of her hearing.
Folks, Miss Loi presents to you the following tragic scenes from The Temple, reminiscent of students struggling to make their way to school in some flooded Third-World country. During a freak shower yesterday, rainwater burst through the roof of The Temple. It happened when a student went to the toilet to "fix her hair", and ended up getting her hair "fixed" by the shower on her way back to the classroom.
The situation is dire. Miss Loi laid huddled at a dark dingy corner, staring in disbelief at this unrecognizable image in her mirror. What was once healthy, full of life, and as radiant as the sunshine is now a bundle of limp, dull, lifeless, shambolic mess.
Invoking her mathematical powers, our cute schoolgirl managed to narrow down the location of the π-spot to that tattoo on his shoulder! But as Fate would have it, all that stood between the hunk and her was one big fat ugly butch with a waistline that stretched from railing to railing, and who was rapidly moving along at a top speed of 1-10m/hr.
The completion of the Second Temple is nigh!

The Carpets Have Dried
(4)Following that fateful day of The Great Flood, signs of life are slowly returning to The Temple. Spiraling columns of smoke from joss sticks sessions can be seen once more, and Miss Loi's fierce voice reprimanding students who didn't do their homework echoes through the plains of Novena again. But some things do change, while some never will.
